Germany – HMotion GmbH, the helicopter simulator training joint venture between Airbus Helicopters and ADAC, is recruiting an FSTD Operations Manager (f/m/d) on a permanent contract (part-time or full-time) at its training centre in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich.

About the Role:

  • Ensure reliable simulator operations: You support the Technical Manager in the operational and technical management of daily FSTD operations and assume deputy responsibility in their absence — always in compliance with regulatory requirements, manufacturer specifications, and internal procedures.
  • Coordinate teams and service providers: You act as the central interface to external technical service providers and coordinate our technical team to ensure agreed performance, schedule, and quality targets are achieved.
  • Oversee technical processes: You analyze incidents occurring during simulator operations, ensure proper reporting, and follow up on corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Status reporting & projects: You ensure visibility (schedules, costs, technology, performance) regarding operational progress.
  • Ensure regulatory processes: You support regulatory procedures, qualifications, and audits in accordance with EASA requirements, and further develop our technical simulator processes.

Requirements:

  • Several years of professional experience, ideally in flight simulation or aviation operations.
  • Technical experience (e.g., flight simulators, aviation engineering, operational processes) or a strong technical aptitude combined with a degree or technical training in aerospace engineering or a STEM field.
  • A structured and analytical working style with an interest in complex technical systems and aviation processes.
  • Knowledge of EASA FSTD regulations (CS-FSTD(H)) or regulatory experience is an advantage — training can be provided.
  • Team-oriented communication skills, digital proficiency, and enthusiasm for helicopter and simulation technology.

Applications should be submitted via email to Johanna Hörrmann, Human Resources, at CAREER@hmotion.com, including salary expectations and earliest possible starting date.
