Florida, USA - Skyborne Airline Academy has highlighted the progress of its latest British Airways Speedbird cadet cohort, CP53, as the trainees continue their single-engine flight training at the academy’s Florida campus following completion of ATPL ground school.

  • The CP53 cohort consists of 16 British Airways Speedbird cadets currently undertaking training in Florida.
  • The trainees are four weeks into their single-engine flight training phase at Skyborne’s U.S. campus.
  • The Florida training environment offers consistent weather conditions and high aircraft utilisation, supporting accelerated flight training progression.
  • Cadets have completed ATPL theoretical training and are now progressing into their first solo flights.
  • The programme forms part of the long-standing partnership between Skyborne and British Airways to develop future airline pilots for the carrier.
