airBaltic Pilot Academy Welcomes 26th Student Group as Expansion Continues
Riga, Latvia – The airBaltic Pilot Academy, operated by Latvia’s national airline airBaltic, has welcomed its 26th group of students, marking another milestone in its efforts to train the next generation of commercial pilots.
- The new group consists of 15 students from Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Romania, and Sweden.
- They are enrolled in the full-time airline transport pilot program, aiming to earn a commercial pilot license.
- The academy currently has 163 active students, with over 10% being female.
- To date, 131 graduates have joined airBaltic as pilots.
- The academy continues to expand its training capabilities, recently installing its second Airbus A220 full-flight simulator.
- The new simulator enhances airBaltic’s ability to train pilots efficiently and support fleet expansion.
