Boeing Appoints Zaid Alami as Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific and Oceania
Singapore – Boeing has announced the appointment of Zaid Alami as Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific & Oceania, leading Customer Support for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. This new role follows his leadership tenure at Boeing Indonesia and marks a strategic move to enhance customer engagement across a region critical to Boeing’s future growth.

Boeing forecasts demand in the region over the next 20 years to include:

4,720 new airplane deliveries and 7.2% annual traffic growth in Southeast Asia.

1,470 new deliveries and 3% annual growth in Northeast Asia.

740 new deliveries and 3.7% growth in Oceania.

The forecast also anticipates the need for 373,000 new aviation personnel and a commercial services market valued at $635 billion.

Alami will continue his support for Indonesia’s aviation sector, now from a regional leadership perspective.
