Boeing Initiative Empowers Women in India’s Aviation Sector – Offers Type Rating

India – Boeing India celebrated the achievements of a trainee from the Boeing Sukanya Program during the IATA AGM 2025, highlighting the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing gender diversity in India’s aviation sector.

  • The Boeing Sukanya Program was launched at the request of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to increase female participation in aviation.
  • The initiative provides STEM Labs, pilot training scholarships, and institutional partnerships to support young women aspiring to aviation careers.
  • The program is actively fostering opportunities for women to transition from classrooms to cockpits across India.
