CATES 2025 Brings Together 300+ Aviation Training Experts in Guanghan, China
Guanghan, China – The 13th Civil Aviation Training & Education Summit (CATES), themed “Innovation and Development of Aviation Training”, was held on April 24–25, 2025, at Guanghan in Sichuan Province. The summit gathered over 300 experts from airlines, manufacturers, and aviation training organisations to explore the evolving landscape of pilot and crew training.

More than 300 industry leaders, experts, and corporate representatives from aviation training and education participated in the event.

Panel discussions addressed the role of immersive technologies, systematic training frameworks, and emerging global trends in aviation education.

Two new sub-forums were introduced:

Flight Simulation Conference: Focused on leveraging VR and AR technologies to enhance flight simulation and address traditional training limitations.

Cabin Crew Safety Training Conference: Addressed comprehensive lifecycle training for cabin personnel, including recruitment, training, and career development.
