Emirates President Sees Renewed Resolve from Boeing in 2025
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – At the 2025 International Air Transport Association (IATA) summit, Emirates Airline President Tim Clark acknowledged the “greater degree of determination” demonstrated by Boeing’s new leadership in addressing the company’s persistent manufacturing and delivery setbacks. Speaking candidly, Clark pointed to meaningful progress in stabilizing Boeing’s production lines—particularly relevant to Emirates’ substantial order of 205 Boeing 777X aircraft.
While Emirates originally expected the 777X deliveries years earlier, Clark confirmed the airline now anticipates its first arrivals between late 2026 and early 2027. Despite these setbacks, he remains cautiously optimistic, describing a “more positive tone” from Boeing concerning the wide-body program.
