11th Jun 2025

France – Mermoz Academy has announced that it is now approved by the DGAC to provide initial and standardization courses for several key examiner authorizations, reinforcing its leadership in advanced pilot training and examiner certification.

  • Mermoz Academy’s DGAC approval covers training for the following examiner authorizations:

    • FE (A) – Flight Examiner (Aircraft)

    • FIE (A) – Flight Instructor Examiner (Aircraft)

    • IRE (A) – Instrument Rating Examiner (Aircraft)

    • CRE (A) – Class Rating Examiner (Aircraft)

    • TRE (SPA) – Type Rating Examiner (Aircraft)

  • The approval enables Mermoz Academy to provide both initial qualification courses and standardization courses for these examiner roles.

Mermoz Academy had announced earlier in the year plans to expand its training fleet with the addition of five new aircraft and two new simulators. In 2024 Mermoz Academy placed an order for 10 Tecnam Aircraft.
