Spatial to deliver Airbus A330 Door Trainer for Vietnamese Airline

Spatial, the world’s leading provider of cabin crew simulators, has entered a new partnership with VietJet Air to manufacture and deliver an A330 door trainer.

Work will begin imminently and once complete, the A330 door trainer will provide training on the operations of the A330 main door, providing trainees with the necessary capabilities needed to perform their duties on board this aircraft when operating the door internally. The door will be equipped with all the latest in simulation technology to simulate all types of malfunctions as well as opening in emergency scenarios.

Aircraft Manufacturer appoints Sales Agent for the Philippines

Diamond Aircraft is pleased to announce Airflite Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airflite Pty Ltd, as the sales agent for the Philippines.

Singapore Airline Scoot relaunches Cadet Program

The Singapore based low-cost carrier opened applications for its MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot License) program again on the 27th of January 2022.

Cadets will undergo a customised co-funded 19 months training course at Scoot’s preferred training college. Completion of the course equips you with a Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL) or ‘Frozen’ ICAO ATPL which will make you one one step closer to becoming a Second Officer/Junior First Officer.

Upon graduation from the MPL Cadet Programme, you will undertake Scoot’s base and line training to ensure you are fully equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner or Airbus 320.

Essential Requirements
  • Minimally 18 years old (as required by regulations in Air Navigation Order).
  • Legally entitled to work in Singapore upon completion of training.
  • GCE ‘O’ level and above. A minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent at one sitting. These must include English, Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics.
  • Qualify for Class I & II unrestricted medical certification as approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).
  • Good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not colour blind.
  • Be able to commit to a period of 18 months of consecutive training with no disruption.
  • Physically and mentally fit.

Lanmei Training Centre in Cambodia is looking for B1.1 Aircraft Maintenance Instructor

Lanmei Training Center, the new Flight School and Simulator Training Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia owned and operated by Lanmei Airlines is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor.

Roles
  • Able to conduct theoretical training and practical training associated with category B1.1 modules and madatory recurrent training;
  • Able to develop new lesson plans based on TNA requirements and also contribute as a subject matter expert, including the ability to assist chief examiner in development on question banks; and
  • Able to supervise students, including updating their progress and attendance to Training Manager from time to time.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as an instructor
  • Holding a valid B1.1 Basic Licence or Instructor Authorization Certificate
  • Must have Train the trainer Certificate
  • Age below 40 years old
  • Strictly for the Southeast Asia Nationalities only
  • Willing to Relocate to Cambodia
