Polish Air Force University Selects ALSIM Simulators to Enhance Pilot Training and Selection
Poland – The Polish Air Force University (PAFU) has enhanced its pilot training and candidate selection capabilities by integrating ALSIM simulators into its programs, following a rigorous procurement and evaluation process.
-
PAFU selected ALSIM simulators to support its training operations after evaluating their widespread use and proven certification credentials across the aviation training sector.
-
The university required simulators that replicate the Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft and meet EASA FNPT II certification standards.
-
ALSIM devices were chosen due to their precise cockpit and flight characteristic replication, ensuring type-specific training closely aligned with real-world conditions.
-
The simulators were certified by the Civil Aviation Authority and approved for operational use, enabling students to train in realistic emergency and asymmetric flight scenarios safely.
-
Besides cadet training, PAFU uses the ALSIM Selection Tool to assess potential military pilot candidates, focusing on psychomotor skills such as attention division, coordination, perception, and reaction time.
-
The integration of ALSIM simulators supports Medium Jet, SEP, MEP, MCC, and JOC training modules, aligning with the growing requirements for military aviation readiness.
-
The acquisition of the ALSIM platform began in 2022, aiming to meet modern selection and training standards in military pilot education.
