Ryanair Launches New Future Flyer Academy Program with Skyborne Aiming to Train 400 UK Pilots in Next 4 Years
United Kingdom – Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline group, has officially launched its Future Flyer Academy pilot training programme in the UK in partnership with UK-based Skyborne Airline Academy. The initiative aims to train over 400 cadets over the next four years, offering them a direct route into Second Officer positions within the Ryanair Group.

Ryanair has appointed Skyborne as the exclusive UK training provider for the Future Flyer Academy.

The programme delivers dual-licence training (UK CAA and EASA) integrated with Ryanair’s standard operating procedures and operational philosophy.

Skyborne cadets will undergo training in the UK and the US, including single- and multi-engine training, and an Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) course.

The training is delivered at Skyborne’s facilities in Gloucestershire, Bournemouth, and Vero Beach, Florida.

The full programme is priced at GBP 131,400

The initiative supports Ryanair’s long-term fleet growth strategy to reach over 800 aircraft by 2034, including more than 300 new Boeing 737 MAX-10s.
