Switzerland – BRUNNER Elektronik AG has officially launched the world’s first and only EASA-compliant qualified Mixed Reality FNPT II simulator: the NOVASIM MR DA42, marking a groundbreaking advancement in civil aviation training.

• The simulator replicates the Diamond DA42 aircraft and meets full EASA FNPT II qualification standards.

• The project was developed in collaboration with Lufthansa Aviation Training Group, Varjo, and key partners including FOCA (Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland).

• The NOVASIM MR DA42 uses Varjo’s XR-4 Focal Edition headset to deliver immersive mixed reality, combining real and virtual cockpit elements.
