14th May 2025

United States – Aviation education platform UpskillAir has announced a new partnership with PlaneEnglish, the developer of ARSim, an FAA- and ICAO-aligned aviation radio simulator used by both civilian and military aviators, including the U.S. Air Force.

  • The collaboration integrates UpskillAir’s microlearning platform (MBytes) with PlaneEnglish’s ARSim, enabling student pilots to practice aviation communications in real-time AI-driven simulation environments.
  • ARSim offers virtual ATC interactions, real-time speech feedback, and phase-specific training, now including cross-country scenario modules introduced in the 2024 release.
  • Pilots training on the integrated system can earn FAA WINGS credits, enhancing regulatory compliance and training value.
  • The solution supports CFIs and training organizations with tools to track learner engagement and communications proficiency.
  • Volume licensing packages are available for flight schools and university aviation programs, supporting scalable training deployment.
  • The integration is currently being piloted with select launch partners ahead of broader rollout.
