World’s First Mindfulness Program for Cadet Pilots Launches at Asia Aeronautical Training Academy

Malaysia – The Centre for Mindfulness (Singapore) and Asia Aeronautical Training Academy (AATA) have launched “Calm in Command,” the world’s first structured mindfulness-informed training program tailored specifically for cadet pilots. Delivered during ab-initio training, this pioneering initiative marks a paradigm shift in pilot development by integrating emotional intelligence, mental clarity, and leadership under pressure into traditional flight instruction. The debut session, facilitated by certified mindfulness teacher Albert Tiong (CMT-P), positions AATA as a global frontrunner in holistic pilot education.
