14DAYPILOT Adds FAA Part 142 Airline Type Rating Programs

October 7, 2026

USA – 14DAYPILOT Type Rating has expanded into FAA Part 142 training with Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 Pilot-in-Command type rating programs and a pathway for foreign ATPL holders seeking an FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate. The company states that the new Part 142 operation holds FAA certificate JTFX439K and will operate alongside its existing Part 61 programs.

  • The new training center offers structured A320 and Boeing 737 PIC type rating courses using simulator-based, scenario-oriented instruction under FAA Part 142.
  • 14DAYPILOT is also offering a pathway for holders of foreign ATPLs to work toward an FAA ATP certificate. Eligibility remains subject to FAA experience requirements and completion of the applicable knowledge and practical tests.
  • The expansion broadens 14DAYPILOT’s portfolio beyond its accelerated Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial and instructor training products into transport-category aircraft qualifications for professional pilots. Its current published course portfolio includes accelerated A320 and Boeing 737 type rating programs, ATP initial training and ICAO/EASA-to-FAA conversion pathways.
  • AFM previously reported that 14DAYPILOT was in the final phase of securing FAA Part 142 approval for its Airbus A320 PIC Type Rating program in January 2026. At the time, the academy planned an FAA-supervised evaluation course in March and stated that it intended to expand later into Boeing 737 training.
  • 14DAYPILOT’s founder, Capt. Dr. Gema Goeyardi, also stated in 2026 that the company had taken over Jetflow Aviation Training as part of the transition into its Part 142 type rating operation.
