Alpha Aviation Group Seeks General Manager and Accountable Manager for Indonesia in 2026

Indonesia – pilot training group Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) is seeking to recruit a General Manager / Accountable Manager for its Indonesian aviation training operation, seeking a senior executive to oversee regulatory compliance, safety, operational performance and business management as AAG Indonesia continues expanding its local training footprint.

  • The position will provide daily on-site leadership in Indonesia with direct oversight of training, safety, finance and commercial performance. Responsibilities also include regulatory accountability, audit readiness and engagement with aviation authorities and other industry stakeholders.
  • AAG is seeking candidates with at least 10 years of aviation-industry experience and previous General Manager or equivalent senior leadership experience in a regulated aviation environment. Accountable Manager experience, or experience in another regulator-approved leadership role, is listed as highly preferred.
  • The recruitment specification also calls for knowledge of aviation regulations, Safety Management Systems and Quality Management Systems, together with experience in aviation training organisations, flight training organisations or airline operations.
  • AAG Indonesia’s current official website identifies its main operating base at Mega Techno City in Batam, with flight activity using Hang Nadim International Airport. Its training portfolio includes PPL, CPL, Instrument Rating, Flight Instructor and Airline Pilot Pathway programs.
  • The academy currently advertises Cessna 152 and Cessna 172 training aircraft and DGCA-approved Redbird MCX Advanced Aviation Training Devices, with multi-engine training also incorporated into its Airline Pilot Pathway.
  • AFM previously reported that AAG Indonesia opened a representative office in BSD City, Tangerang Selatan, in August 2026 following the January rebrand of FlyBest Flight Academy as AAG Indonesia.
