British Airways Advances New Spatial CEET for Heathrow Global Learning Academy

United Kingdom – British Airways has completed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for a new Cabin Emergency and Evacuation Trainer (CEET) supplied by UAE-based Spatial Composite Solutions, with the device now progressing toward shipment, installation and commissioning at the airline’s Global Learning Academy near London Heathrow.

  • The CEET will be installed at British Airways’ Global Learning Academy at London Heathrow. British Airways’ published academy information identifies dedicated cabin training activity at the facility, while its training materials cover practical areas including door operation, emergency evacuation, ditching, fire and smoke response and pilot incapacitation.
  • Spatial already has an established equipment relationship with British Airways. The manufacturer currently lists the airline among its global customers, while its project archive identifies an Airbus A350 door trainer previously developed for British Airways.
  • Spatial designs and manufactures its aviation training equipment at a 100,000-square-foot facility in the United Arab Emirates. Its portfolio includes Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers, Door Trainers, Cabin Service Trainers, Virtual Slide Trainers and other cabin and cockpit training equipment.
