Danish Airline Visits Partner Flight School in September 2026 Ahead of Further Pilot Recruitment

Denmark – Danish charter and ACMI airline Jettime has continued its pilot recruitment engagement with Center Air Pilot Academy (CAPA), with Chief Pilot Kristian Plambeck and Copenhagen Base Pilot Anders Wischmann visiting students at the academy's Roskilde Airport campus. Jettime said further pilot recruitment is planned and that it hopes to recruit additional CAPA graduates in 2027, extending a school-to-airline pathway that has already resulted in graduates joining the carrier directly.

• Jettime's latest operational update reported a fleet of 13 Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft, which completed 4,028 block hours during July 2026, the airline's busiest month of the year. The fleet operates across Jettime's charter and ACMI businesses, creating an ongoing requirement for Boeing 737 flight crews as flying activity develops.
• Jettime is already recruiting Boeing 737 flight crew separately from the CAPA engagement, with current openings for B737NG type-rated First Officers at its Copenhagen and Helsinki bases and Direct Entry Captains in Helsinki.
• Jettime and CAPA formalized their current partnership in 2024. The airline initially said it would follow a class of 12 cadets who began training in August 2024, work with CAPA on their development and potentially provide selected graduates with employment opportunities.
• The relationship extends beyond recruitment at graduation. Jettime's current CAPA career page states that the airline regularly visits the school, contributes to training plans, provides mentoring and invites cadets to its aircraft hangar, giving students exposure to the operator while they are still completing ab-initio training.
• Jettime identified Anders Nielsen as one example of the pathway, stating that he joined the airline directly from CAPA in 2025.
