Tunisia – Entrol, the Madrid, Spain-based EASA and FAA-certified simulator manufacturer, has announced on 24 August 2026 the sale of a customised H125 FNPT II MCC simulator to the Tunisian Air Force under the Ministry of National Defense of Tunisia — the second simulator project delivered by Entrol to the Tunisian Air Force under an agreement formalised in July 2025.

  • The simulator features a cockpit customised to match the customer's specific AS350B fleet configuration, integrating real Garmin dual GDU1060 hardware. A standard cylindrical visual projection system is integrated with a D-BOX vibration system providing authentic tactile feedback across all flight regimes.
  • Geo-specific and mission-oriented training features include: complete official Tunisian navigation data across all official Tunisian airports; 15 customised geo-specific helipads; desert sandstorm environmental effects; initial NVIS (Night Vision Imaging System) integration; formation flight options; and a dedicated instructor station with dual IOS seating for instructor and observer.
  • The H125 FNPT II will be used for advanced military mission training including procedural drills, emergency management, NVIS tactical flights, and formation flying practice within specialised local scenarios.

Statements

  • "Working with military operators like the Tunisian Air Force reinforces entrol's capability to deliver highly specialized, mission-ready simulation devices. Our goal with this H125 project was not just to deliver a certified device, but to provide a tailored environment where pilots can practice high-risk procedures — such as NVIS operations or flying through sandstorms — with total realism and zero risk," said Juanjo Lechosa, Business Manager at Entrol.
