Türkiye – Flight simulator manufacturer FTD.aero has dispatched two Airliner simulators, configured as B73M and A32N devices, to Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA) in Türkiye, advancing the project from factory acceptance into the delivery and installation stage. FTD.aero said the devices are designed to support airline-oriented training including APS MCC, MPL and type-focused programs.

  • FTD.aero confirmed in August 2026 that both devices had completed Factory Acceptance Testing at its facility in Poland with TAFA representatives involved in the validation process.
  • The addition will expand TAFA’s synthetic training infrastructure beyond its existing ab-initio and MCC devices. The academy currently reports eight flight simulators supporting its training operation, alongside a fleet of 97 aircraft comprising 66 Cessna 172S NAVIII aircraft, 16 Diamond DA40s, 14 Diamond DA42s and one Extra NG.
