Hillsboro Aero Academy Joins Oregon Delegation at 2026 Farnborough International Airshow

Oregon, USA – Hillsboro Aero Academy (HAA) represented Oregon’s aviation training sector at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow as part of a four-company delegation organised by Business Oregon.

  • Four Oregon exporters participated in the delegation: Hillsboro Aero Academy, Advanced Navigation & Positioning Corporation of Hood River, Aviatrix of Sherwood and Ran-Tech Engineering & Aerospace of Clackamas. The companies exhibited through the Business Oregon presence at booth 2031 in the USA Partnership Pavilion.
  • Ashley Souza represented HAA during the event and reported holding meetings with international aviation industry participants.
  • Souza serves as HAA’s Senior Admissions Representative and Talent Acquisition Manager. She has worked at the academy since 2015 and supports international student recruitment, aviation maintenance programme admissions and recruitment for operational positions.
  • HAA currently operates 102 aircraft, comprising 81 fixed-wing aircraft and 21 helicopters. Its fleet includes Cessna 152s, Cessna 172s, Piper Seminoles and Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters.
  • The academy averages approximately 800 domestic and international students and 85,000 flight hours annually. Fixed-wing training is conducted at Hillsboro Airport and Redmond Municipal Airport, while helicopter instruction is based at Troutdale Airport.
