India – HM Aviation, one of India’s leading pilot training facilitators and a provider of DGCA Commercial Pilot Licence ground school training, is pleased to announce that 12 Indian cadets commenced their Commercial Pilot Licence training at Air Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, on 2 October 2026.
The latest group of cadets marks another milestone in the longstanding association between HM Aviation and Air Hawke’s Bay, a well-established and one of the respected flying school in New Zealand. The two organisations have worked together for over a decade, supporting hundreds of aspiring pilots from India in their journey towards a professional aviation career.
Over the years, students trained through this partnership have progressed to opportunities with several leading airlines, including Air India, IndiGo, Akasa Air , Alliance air and Air India Express. This track record reflects the importance of structured pilot training, experienced instruction and the right guidance throughout the journey from aspiring student to commercial pilot.
For the 12 cadets who have now begun their training, this marks the start of an important new chapter. Their Commercial Pilot Licence programme in New Zealand will provide them with an opportunity to develop their flying skills, strengthen their aviation knowledge and work towards the professional standards required of commercial pilots.
HM Aviation extends its best wishes to all 12 cadets as they embark on this journey. The organisation is confident that their Commercial pilot license training at Air Hawke’s Bay, supported by HM Aviation’s guidance and experience in pilot training facilitation, will provide a strong foundation for their future careers in aviation.
