Italy – Aviation training and fleet-management technology provider Intuos has appointed Augusto Capriles as Sales Manager as the Italian company continues expanding its commercial presence internationally. The appointment adds dedicated sales capability during a period in which Intuos is expanding its flight-training technology platform and targeting further growth in Europe and the United States.

  • Intuos’ flight-training platform currently integrates reservation and operational management, Competency-Based Training and Assessment, theoretical knowledge management, fleet monitoring, three-dimensional flight monitoring and safety analytics within one digital ecosystem.
  • The company’s Inflight Unit captures aircraft data for applications including flight replay, instructor debriefing, exceedance monitoring and multi-flight analysis. Intuos states that the system can be installed on general aviation aircraft, ultralights and helicopters.
  • Intuos secured €720,000 in funding in February 2026 to complete technology development and support expansion into the US market after establishing activity in Europe and Southern Africa. Investors included Argo/CDP Venture Capital, Techstars, VeniSIA, Ventive and other investors.
  • Intuos has already undertaken targeted internationalisation activity in Europe. The company received a €30,480 non-repayable contribution through the Lazio Region’s 2025 SME Internationalisation Voucher programme to support commercial development and participation at Pilot Expo in Brussels and AERO Friedrichshafen.
  • In the United States, Intuos joined the National Business Aviation Association in May 2026 after conducting a market-development trip that included a visit to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Daytona Beach campus. AFM previously reported that the company’s €720,000 financing round was partly intended to support this US expansion.
  • AFM previously reported in July 2026 that Intuos added a Theoretical Knowledge/KSA module to its platform, extending the system beyond flight-school operations, CBTA and flight-data monitoring into theoretical course, assessment and student-progress management.
