Ireland & Poland – Dublin-based advanced pilot training provider Airline Flight Academy (AFA), an official Ryanair training and recruitment partner, has outlined additional training coordination activities with European flight schools in October 2026, including arrangements for further crew training slots for Poland's Bartolini Air. The activities also included engagement with Ryanair Future Flyer Academy partners and recruitment support for existing students.

  • AFA, which reports training more than 500 APS MCC students annually, worked with Bartolini Air to arrange additional training slots for its crews.
  • AFA hosted a Ryanair Pilot Recruitment webinar for its current students, providing information about the airline's recruitment process and the preparation required for subsequent airline selection.
  • During visits to Italy, AFA representatives travelled to Milan and the Bergamo Training Centre, followed by meetings with three flight schools and a regional airline to discuss training partnerships and opportunities for student progression.
  • The academy also met fellow Ryanair Future Flyer Academy partners in Dublin, maintaining coordination between organisations involved in preparing cadets for airline-oriented training.
  • On October 17, AFA participated in Pilot Careers Live at the Convention Centre Dublin, engaging prospective pilot students and providing information about its advanced training and airline career pathways.
  • AFM previously reported that Airline Flight Academy had trained more than 1,000 Ryanair Future Flyer Academy cadets by June 2026. The academy has worked with flight training organisations across Europe and the United Kingdom to support progression from initial commercial pilot training to APS MCC and airline selection.
