Italy & Portugal – Italian aviation technology developer Intuos has announced plans to unveil a new release of its integrated flight school management platform, The Manager©, ahead of the European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) 2026 in Cascais, Portugal. The upcoming update is intended to simplify platform adoption, implementation and scaling for flight training organisations, with demonstrations planned during the event.
- Intuos will exhibit at Booth 222 during EATS 2026, taking place from November 3–5 at the Estoril Congress Centre, with the main conference and exhibition scheduled for November 4–5.
- The company indicated that the upcoming software release will introduce improvements designed to make The Manager easier for flight schools to deploy and expand across their operations.
- The existing platform integrates flight school scheduling, operational workflows, student training records, aircraft management and maintenance oversight within a shared digital environment, allowing training organisations to manage multiple operational functions through one system.
- Intuos will demonstrate how real-time aircraft data can support student pilot debriefing, training performance analysis and fleet management. The integration of flight data into operational workflows is intended to provide instructors and training managers with additional information for monitoring student progression and aircraft utilisation.
- The Manager's existing technical capabilities include multi-base scheduling, automated checks against instructor Flight Time Limitations (FTL) and aircraft maintenance requirements, digital flight logbooks, CBTA assessments and continuing airworthiness management. The platform can also integrate with Intuos' InFlight Unit, which captures aircraft telemetry for flight monitoring, three-dimensional flight replay and post-flight debriefing.
- AFM previously reported that Intuos introduced a Theoretical Knowledge (TK/KSA) module to The Manager in July 2026, extending the platform's existing Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) functionality to theoretical instruction, examinations and student progress monitoring.
