KORE Aviation Brings Student Pilot Headsets to APATS 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand

Thailand – US aviation equipment provider KORE Aviation exhibited at the Asia Pacific Aviation Training Summit (APATS) 2026 in Bangkok, using the event to engage flight schools, Approved Training Organisations, airline training teams and distributors across the region. The company's participation extends its international business-development activity beyond a US flight school network as it seeks additional training-sector partnerships in Asia-Pacific.

• KORE states that it currently works with more than 30 flight schools in the United States and has sold more than 50,000 aviation headsets since beginning operations in 2015.
• APATS activities ran from August 31 through September 2, 2026 at Bangkok's Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. The event brought together airlines, ATOs, regulators, universities, training providers and technology companies, with the 2026 theme focused on "Rethinking Airline Training."
• The APATS organiser reports that the 2026 event attracted more than 700 attendees, over 50 air operators and more than 50 exhibitors from over 40 countries. Conference streams covered pilot training, ab-initio/ATO training, cabin crew, maintenance technician training and Flight Simulation Training Device Operator regulation.
• KORE's focus at the event was on aviation headsets for student pilots, instructors and training organisations, with the company positioning reliability, communication clarity, comfort and durability as considerations for equipment used repeatedly in ab-initio flight training.
• AFM previously reported that KORE Aviation entered the Philippine flight training market in May 2025 through a distribution agreement with Harris Aviation Solutions Philippines, under which its KA-1 headset was incorporated into pilot starter kits supplied to flight schools. The APATS appearance provides KORE with access to a broader group of regional ATOs and training organisations beyond that existing Philippine market activity.
• KORE's current product range includes the KA-1, P1 and associated pilot accessories. The KA-1, which the company identifies as its main student-pilot product, provides 24 dB passive noise reduction, mono and stereo operation, independent volume control for each ear, an electret noise-cancelling microphone, a 3.5 mm auxiliary input and a five-year warranty.
• KORE said its APATS participation is also intended to gather feedback directly from flight schools about how communication equipment performs across different aircraft fleets, student populations and operating environments.
