Colorado, USA – Spartan Education Group-owned McAir Aviation has appointed Briana Fraire as Business Development Flight Manager.

  • McAir currently operates from two Colorado locations: its established Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport base in Broomfield and its newer Colorado Air and Space Port campus in Watkins.
  • AFM previously reported that McAir opened its second flight training campus at Colorado Air and Space Port in November 2025 with six Cessna 172S aircraft, comprising three G1000-equipped and three NAV II-equipped aircraft. At opening, the school planned to add a further 10 aircraft by the end of 2026 and increase the Watkins operation to 100–150 students.
  • McAir received FAA examining authority for its Instrument Rating program in June 2026, adding to the regulatory capabilities of its Part 141 operation. The school's current equipment portfolio includes Cessna 172S aircraft, Piper Seminoles, a Redbird MCX simulator and Frasca TruFlite training equipment.
  • Spartan Education Group acquired McAir Aviation in 2019. The group describes McAir as an independently operated FAA Part 141 flight training business within its wider US aviation education network.
