Simaero Engineering Appoints Yann Leurent as Senior Business Development Manager in 2026

France – Simaero Engineering, the simulator engineering services division of pilot training group Simaero, has appointed Yann Leurent as Senior Business Development Manager. Leurent will lead business development across simulator upgrades, relocations, spare parts and engineering and technical support services.

• Leurent brings more than 10 years of aeronautical engineering, simulation and commercial experience. An aeronautical engineer by training, he began his career working on simulation software and aircraft systems at Airbus before working in Japan on the Mitsubishi MRJ90 program as a Flight Control Systems engineer.
• His role will cover the commercial cycle from identifying customer technical requirements through to coordinating with Simaero Engineering teams on the proposed engineering response. The division’s services include simulator upgrades, relocation projects, spare parts supply and technical support.
• Leurent subsequently moved from engineering into business development and technical sales focused on simulation technologies and professional training solutions before joining Simaero.
• AFM previously reported that Simaero Engineering completed 10 simulator relocations across six countries during 2025 and ended the year with 10 active projects covering simulator brokerage, spare parts, upgrades and research and development activities.
