Simnest Aviation Installs First Simulator in Türkiye at Atlantic Flight Academy

Türkiye – Hungary-based simulator manufacturer Simnest Aviation has completed the installation of an A320 FNPT II MCC device at Atlantic Flight Academy’s Istanbul base, marking Simnest’s first installed simulator in Türkiye.

• The device is intended primarily for APS MCC courses and selected phases of AFA’s airline-contracted Multi-Crew Pilot Licence programs. It will also be available for demonstrations to prospective Simnest customers in Türkiye and surrounding markets.
• AFA operates flight-training bases at Çorlu-Tekirdağ, Edremit-Balıkesir, Yenişehir-Bursa and Pamukova-Sakarya. It operates a fleet of 35-aircraft covering Diamond DA20-C1, DA40 NG and DA42 NG aircraft, Aquila AT01-100 trainers and Pipistrel SW121-121A aircraft.
• Diamond Aircraft added AFA to its Diamond Authorized Training Center network in February 2026. AFA also acts as Diamond Aircraft’s distributor in Türkiye and as a regional service centre for Diamond Aircraft and Austro Engine.
