Portugal – US aviation training technology developer SimViz Labs has announced plans to showcase its aircraft-specific Flight Management System Trainers (FMSTs) and integrated Learning Management System (LMS) at the European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) 2026 in Cascais, Portugal, on November 4–5. The company is targeting airlines and Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) seeking to incorporate self-paced flight management and automation training into their pilot training programs.

  • SimViz Labs plans to present training solutions covering five aircraft platforms: Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 737 MAX, Boeing 747-400, Airbus A320 and Airbus A350.
  • The company will exhibit at Booth 5 in the Take Off Zone (TOZ), Upper Floor, at the Estoril Congress Centre. The exhibition forms part of EATS 2026, which runs from November 3–5, with the main conference and exhibition activities scheduled for November 4–5.
  • The FMST platform enables pilots to practise flight management, aircraft automation and procedural workflows independently of full-flight simulator sessions. SimViz positions the solution as a preparatory training tool, allowing pilots to develop familiarity with FMS operations before progressing to simulator-based flight and crew coordination exercises.
  • The integrated LMS provides structured lessons, guided training scenarios, progress monitoring and trainee assessment capabilities. Instructors can use these functions to identify knowledge gaps, monitor individual performance and support preparation for subsequent simulator training.
  • SimViz Labs offers iPad-based and desktop-based training capabilities, incorporating a worldwide ARINC 424 navigation database, aircraft-specific system logic, Primary Flight Display and Navigation Display representations, and integrated ACARS and CPDLC functionality on supported platforms. Its LMS supports airline-specific lesson plans, offline learning, assessment records, SCORM-based course integration and xAPI-compatible training data exports.
