Florida, USA – Global flight training group Skyborne has welcomed its 20-member CP57 cohort to Vero Beach after the trainees completed ground school in the United Kingdom.

  • The cohort comprises 20 trainees from three pathways:
    • Skyborne’s Integrated ATPL course
    • Jet2FlightPath program
    • British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy
  • CP57 will spend approximately six months at the Vero Beach campus, completing single-engine training through to CPL level before continuing to later stages of the respective training programs.
  • Skyborne’s Vero Beach fleet comprises more than 60 Piper single- and multi-engine aircraft, including Piper Warrior, Arrow, Pilot 100i and Seminole types.
  • The Florida campus also operates four Redbird MCX-E simulators. The FAA-certified advanced aviation training devices can represent PA-28 and PA-44 configurations and include interchangeable cockpit arrangements and wraparound visual systems.
  • Jet2FlightPath provides fully funded training through Skyborne and is structured as a pathway to a Second Officer position with Jet2.com, subject to the cadet meeting the required training and performance standards.
  • The Speedbird Pilot Academy provides fully funded training and a conditional employment pathway with British Airways. Skyborne is British Airways’ designated UK training partner for the initiative.
