United Kingdom – Flight training group Skyborne Airline Academy says its trainees secured 152 conditional airline job offers during the first nine months of 2026, which the academy describes as a record annual result with more than three months of the year remaining.

  • Of these conditional airline job offers, 65 were received by trainees selected through opportunities involving easyJet, Loganair, Wizz Air and DHL, while the remaining 87 were attributed collectively to trainees on the British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy and Jet2FlightPath pathways.
  • Skyborne’s airline-linked portfolio includes both fully funded cadet schemes and employment pathways available to self-funded trainees. The academy is currently an official UK integrated ATPL partner for easyJet, British Airways’ UK preferred supplier for the Speedbird Pilot Academy and an approved provider for Jet2FlightPath.
  • Under Skyborne’s easyJet FlightCrew Futures arrangement, announced in 2026, successful applicants can receive a conditional First Officer job offer and the partnership is intended to train 500 pilots over five years. Training is delivered across Skyborne’s Gloucestershire and Bournemouth facilities in the UK and Vero Beach campus in Florida.
  • The British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy provides fully funded Integrated ATPL training and a conditional employment pathway, while Jet2FlightPath provides an approximately 18-month fully funded course with successful cadets progressing toward Second Officer positions subject to meeting airline and training requirements.
  • Skyborne also has established trainee employment arrangements with Loganair, which can select or “tag” Integrated ATPL students following their initial ground-school phase, and DHL Air (UK), for which Skyborne provides a fully funded Integrated ATPL pathway for selected employees.
