Texas, USA – Spartan Flight Academy, the Grand Prairie-based flight training school operated by Spartan Education Group (SEG), has added Edly as a financing option for students enrolling in its flight training programs.

  • Edly provides income-based repayment (IBR) loans, structuring repayments to scale with the borrower's earnings — with lower payments in the early stages of a graduate's career and higher payments as income grows over time.
  • The addition of Edly expands the range of financing pathways available to qualifying students at Spartan Flight Academy, with the school framing access to flexible financing as a key factor in reducing barriers to entry for aspiring pilots.

Back in March AFM reported that Spartan Flight Academy had received FAA Part 141 approval for its flight training operations in Texas, expanding structured pilot training capacity in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The approval enables the academy to deliver FAA-approved curricula for professional pilot certification pathways at Grand Prairie Municipal Airport (KGPM).

Spartan Education Group’s network includes multiple FAA-approved Part 141 training operations across the United States, including McAir Aviation in Colorado and Illinois Aviation Academy in Illinois.
