Thai Inter Flying School Selects FlightLogger for Digital Training Management

Thailand – Thai Inter Flying School has selected FlightLogger as its digital operating platform, becoming the aviation training software provider’s first customer in Thailand. The system will centralise student progression, aircraft and instructor scheduling, compliance records, maintenance oversight and competency-based training processes as the five-aircraft FTO develops its training operation at Phitsanulok Airport.

• Thai Inter Flying School operates five aircraft, comprising four Cessna 172s — one 172M, one 172N and two 172S aircraft — and one Beechcraft 76 Duchess twin.
• FlightLogger said Thai Inter selected the platform following demonstrations and technical sessions focused on replacing manual paperwork and fragmented operating systems with a single digital environment. The implementation covers aircraft, instructor and student scheduling, digital training records, student progression, compliance and aircraft maintenance tracking.
• The FTO will also use FlightLogger’s CBTA Pro functionality as it develops competency-based training and assessment processes. The platform provides centralised grading and progression data intended to give instructors and training management visibility of student performance across the syllabus.
• FlightLogger described the school’s training-development approach as aligned with CAAT requirements and informed by EASA training practices.
• CAAT currently lists Thai Inter Flying Co., Ltd. under FTO certificate FTO-0009, valid from June 28, 2024 through October 31, 2026.
• Thai Inter’s integrated CPL/IR programme combines 884 hours of theoretical knowledge training with 210 hours of flight training at Phitsanulok Airport. Aircraft used for the programme include the Cessna 172, Garmin G1000-equipped Cessna 172 and Beechcraft 76 Duchess.
• The school also provides PPL, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Flight Instructor and ATPL theoretical knowledge courses. Its Instrument Rating syllabus includes 100 hours of theoretical instruction, 21.5 hours of aircraft training and 22.5 hours of simulator training; the number and regulatory classification of its current simulator devices were not independently confirmed.
• Phitsanulok Airport is Thai Inter’s primary flight-training base, while ground-training activity is also conducted in Bangkok. The school cites the airport’s instrument-navigation infrastructure and comparatively lower traffic environment as factors supporting ab-initio and instrument training.
• FlightLogger stated that Thai Inter is its first customer in Thailand. The supplier now reports more than 220 flight schools across over 50 countries using its platform, expanding its customer footprint further into Southeast Asia.
