Vietjet’s Victoria Aviation Academy Hosts Japanese Leasing Groups in September 2026

Vietnam – Victoria Aviation Academy (VIAA), the Ho Chi Minh City-based aviation training academy formerly known as Vietjet Aviation Academy, hosted senior representatives from Mizuho Leasing and NTT TC Leasing in September 2026 for discussions and a tour of its training infrastructure.

• The delegation comprised Hiroyuki Hatori, Senior Manager in Mizuho Leasing's Investment & Services Department; Hiromitsu Ikeda, Head of Investment Product Business at NTT TC Leasing; and Daisuke Iba, Manager of JOL Origination and Structuring at NTT TC Leasing. VIAA Deputy General Director Le Doan Quang led the facility visit and discussions.
• The delegation visited VIAA's flight simulator training area, passenger cabin mockup facilities and engineering faculty workshop. VIAA's wider infrastructure also includes cabin service and door mockups, technical and maintenance training facilities, an Airbus Competence Training Suite and water-survival training equipment.
• VIAA operates three CAE 7000XR Airbus A320 CEO/NEO Level D Full Flight Simulators and a CAE 400XR Airbus Procedures Trainer. AFM previously reported that the academy gained full in-house operational control of the three A320 FFS devices in December 2025 and began offering simulator capacity to third-party customers in January 2026.
• AFM previously reported that the academy, which rebranded from Vietjet Aviation Academy to Victoria Aviation Academy in early 2026, has been expanding its international training network during 2026 through partnerships covering MPL, ab-initio flight training and university-linked pilot pathways.
