2FLY Adds UK Pilot Training Cohort at Avon Park in September 2026 Ahead of Four-Base Florida Network

October 3, 2026

Florida, USA – Flight training group 2FLY welcomed four UK professional pilot training students to its Avon Park, Florida facility in September 2026, as the organisation expands its Florida training footprint toward four operating locations.

  • 2FLY stated in its September announcement that its expanded training operation has a fleet of approximately 80 aircraft.
  • The organisation currently operates training activity at Merritt Island, Avon Park and Lakeland. It also lists Fort Pierce as a forthcoming location, which would increase its Florida footprint to four training bases.
  • Merritt Island serves as 2FLY’s global headquarters, while Avon Park provides an additional flight-training base. The Lakeland operation is conducted through International Aero Academy, which remains an FAA Part 141 training organisation under the 2FLY Group.
  • The group’s EASA Pro-Pilot pathway combines training in Florida with European training phases. 2FLY describes the program as a full-time pathway toward a frozen EASA ATPL, with students undertaking practical training across its US operation and partner training organisations in Europe.
