ACC Slovenia Launches Global Aviation Scholarship Program to Empower Developing Nations
Slovenia – In a major step toward building a more inclusive and globally standardized aviation workforce, Aviation Career Center (ACC) has announced a new scholarship-backed EASA-certified pilot training and type rating program tailored for students from underdeveloped countries. ACC provides internationally recognized pilot training designed to elevate local aviation sectors and reduce dependency on foreign pilots.
Program Overview
- Government-Backed Scholarship Support – ACC offers a 23% scholarship to students selected through national partnerships. Participating governments are invited to co-fund the remaining tuition to ensure full access for qualified candidates.
- World-Class EASA Training – Students will progress from ab-initio to Commercial Pilot License (CPL/ME/IR), guided by certified instructors under strict European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards. Training includes theory, simulation, and real flight hours.
- Type Rating on Leading Aircraft – Graduates will complete aircraft type rating on widely used commercial jets, such as the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737, depending on the fleet composition of their home countries. This ensures immediate job readiness for domestic or regional airlines.
Why This Matters
This program is more than just pilot training—it is a strategic investment in aviation capacity-building:
- Builds a locally trained, globally certified aviation workforce
- Reduces reliance on foreign personnel and boosts industry self-sufficiency
- Enhances national aviation safety and competitiveness
- Creates direct employment opportunities for youth in high-growth technical fields
“By training future pilots to international standards, countries can unlock new economic opportunities and achieve long-term sustainability in aviation,” said a spokesperson for ACC. “We are proud to partner with governments committed to developing the next generation of aviation professionals.”
Partner With ACC
ACC is actively seeking collaboration with education ministries and aviation authorities to structure this initiative for implementation, including student selection, co-funding models, and rollout planning.
