Florida, USA– Acron Aviation Academy, the Sanford based flight training organisation of Acron Aviation, has launched the EXCEL Scholarship as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations. The merit-based initiative aims to reward high-performing cadets by covering the course fee for advanced training phases, with a focus on supporting progression into Certified Flight Instructor roles.
- The EXCEL Scholarship is awarded to students in the Professional Pilot Program who demonstrate outstanding performance, including first-time ground school exam passes, strong checkride results, and positive instructor feedback.
- The scholarship specifically covers the course fee for the Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Add-On, valued at $9,930. It does not include additional flight time, accommodations, or incidental expenses.
- Unlike traditional limited-award scholarships, the EXCEL Scholarship is unrestricted in quantity—any cadet who meets the performance criteria qualifies.
- The program is designed to encourage disciplined and engaged cadets to pursue instructor certification, accelerating their entry into professional pilot roles while alleviating financial pressure.
- Acron Aviation Academy emphasizes that the scholarship is non-monetary and non-transferable, and only applies upon successful completion of the specified training phase.
