Azerbaijan – Acron Aviation, a global supplier of aviation training and simulation solutions, and Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy (NAA), the country’s leading civil aviation training institution, have announced the entry into service of a Boeing 787-9 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) at the NAA training centre in Baku.
-
The simulator is the first of its type in the Caspian Sea region, expanding regional training capacity for Boeing 787 operations and reducing reliance on overseas training for widebody pilots.
-
Installed at the NAA campus adjacent to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the device supports growing training demand from Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and enables the academy to offer local CAA and EASA-certified Boeing 787 training to other regional operators.
