Egypt – Flight simulation and pilot training solutions provider Acron Aviation has confirmed an agreement to supply Egyptair Training Academy with a Reality7e Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulator, adding further detail to an acquisition first announced by EgyptAir in July 2026. The device will become the academy's second A320neo-capable FFS in Cairo and will increase capacity for A320-family type rating, recurrent and command upgrade training.

Its Training Systems business reports more than 300 Full Flight Simulators currently operating worldwide. Acron Technologies announced on August 26, 2026, that it had signed a definitive agreement to sell its Commercial Training Solutions business, including Training Systems and Training Services, to FlightSafety International. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2026 subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

EGYPTAIR Training Academy is the Cairo-based training organization of EGYPTAIR, providing pilot, cabin crew, maintenance, ground services and other aviation training from its campus at Cairo International Airport. Its pilot training capabilities include Airbus A320-family, A220, A330/A340 and Boeing 737 and 777 training. The academy operates EASA- and Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority-qualified simulator devices and provides initial, transition, recurrent and upgrade pilot training.
