Acron Aviation to Place Boeing 737NG Full-Flight Simulator with Global One Training Group in Florida

Florida, USA – Acron Aviation has reached an agreement for Global One Training Group to house an Acron Aviation Boeing 737NG Full Flight Simulator at its FAA Part 142 training center at Orlando Sanford International Airport. The deployment would add B737NG capability to a Sanford center whose current publicly listed simulator fleet comprises B737 Classic, B727-200 and MD-88 full-flight simulators.

• Global One currently lists three FAA-certified FFSs at Sanford:
  • Level D Boeing 727-200
  • Level C Boeing 737-300/Classic (FAA FSTD ID 303 and supports type ratings, proficiency checks and UPRT)
  • Level D MD-88
• Global One operates under FAA Part 142 certificate 1G2X086L and provides simulator training to airlines, operators and individual pilots from its facility at Orlando Sanford International Airport. The FAA also lists Global One as an authorised ATP Certification Training Program provider.
• The Sanford agreement was announced by Acron Aviation's Commercial Training Solutions team one week after FlightSafety International signed a definitive agreement to acquire Acron Technologies' Commercial Training Solutions business. The transaction includes Training Systems, Training Services and the Aviation Academy and is expected to close in Q4 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
• AFM previously reported in 2022 that Global One upgraded its B737-300 FFS and received FAA certification for UPRT, full-stall, icing, realistic gusting crosswind and bounced-landing capabilities.
