United Arab Emirates – Action Flight Aviation, an approved ATO based at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, has launched its Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) program for 2026, reinforcing its commitment to addressing Loss of Control‑In‑Flight (LOC‑I)—a leading cause of aviation fatalities—and expanding advanced pilot training options across the UAE and MENA regions.
-
Action Flight Aviation has commenced training for candidates enrolling in its ATO‑approved Advanced UPRT program, with slots actively being reserved at its Ras Al Khaimah training base.

Reflecting on 2025, the organisation highlighted a successful presence at the Dubai Airshow, where it showcased its twin Extra 330 LT Unlimited Category Aerobatic Aircraft at the static exhibition, underscoring the aerobatic platform’s relevance to advanced upset training.
-
The 2026 AUPRT delivery will be led by the company’s experienced flight instructor team, including Capt. Rob Akron (PH Head of Training), Capt. Joel Haski (Senior Instructor), and the Director of Flight Operations/CEO, collectively bringing approximately 35,000 flight hours across advanced UPRT, military and airline operations, general aviation, special operations, aerobatic instruction, and international display flying.
-
The program is designed to serve both CAR‑FCL745(a) mandated candidates and broader pilot and instructor demographics within the UAE and Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region, strengthening high‑level training accessibility and pilot preparedness.
-
Action Flight Aviation emphasises the importance of UPRT in combatting Loss of Control‑In‑Flight (LOC‑I) events, positioning its training as vital for pilot competence, confidence, and safety readiness across flight operations.
