United Kingdom – modular pilot training group Aeros Flight Training has taken delivery of its first Diamond DA20, with the aircraft now available for self-fly hire from GBP 185 per hour as well as pilot training activity.
- AFM previously reported that the DA20 would be the first aircraft of the type in Aeros’ fleet and would also serve an evaluation role, with Aeros indicating that operational experience with the aircraft could influence the future direction of its single-engine training fleet.
- Aeros’ wider fleet renewal has included the introduction of Tecnam P-Mentor aircraft, with two additional units delivered in November 2025 after the first two entered service earlier that year. The organisation has also stated that further Tecnam aircraft and Diamond DA42 twin-engine aircraft form part of its fleet development plans.
- The flight school currently provides modular training covering PPL, ATPL theoretical knowledge, Commercial Pilot Licence, Multi-Engine Piston, Instrument Rating and Flight Instructor pathways.
- Aeros holds UK CAA ATO approval GBR.ATO.0105 and EASA ATO approval EASA.ATO.0062. It operates bases in Cardiff, Gloucester, Leeds East & Wellesbourne.
