Aeros Flight Training Starts New 7.5-Month ATPL Ground School Cohort in September 2026

United Kingdom – Aeros Flight Training has started its latest full-time ATPL Ground School cohort, designated AOS26B, with students undertaking a 7.5-month theoretical knowledge course through a combined classroom delivery model linking its Gloucester and Leeds East training bases.

• Students attending Gloucester receive the course in person, while trainees at Leeds East participate in the same classes through a live video link, allowing both locations to operate as one cohort.
• Aeros said it currently delivers ATPL Ground School across three of its four principal UK training bases. Its published 2027 schedule shows classroom ATPL courses planned at Gloucester, Leeds East and Wellesbourne, while Cardiff remains one of the group's four wider flight-training bases.
• The academy's Fastrack pathway combines ATPL theoretical knowledge with subsequent modular flight-training stages. Aeros currently lists private and commercial training including PPL, CPL, Multi-Engine Piston, Instrument Rating and Flight Instructor training alongside ATPL theory.
• AFM previously reported that Aeros expanded its airline-linked training activity during 2026 through its involvement in the British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy.
