Aeros Flight Training Takes Delivery of Two New Tecnam P-Mentors in November 2026

November 6, 2026

United Kingdom – UK modular pilot training organisation Aeros Flight Training has taken delivery of two new Tecnam P-Mentor aircraft, registered G-CNED and G-CNDT, during the first week of November 2026. The additions form part of the academy's ongoing fleet renewal and expansion strategy, aimed at increasing aircraft availability and supporting pilot training demand across its UK network.

  • The two deliveries bring Aeros' Tecnam P-Mentor fleet to six aircraft, with two additional Tecnam aircraft scheduled to arrive in early 2027. Subject to delivery, the next additions would increase the academy's Tecnam fleet to eight aircraft.
  • Aeros stated that the additional aircraft will improve scheduling flexibility and increase training capacity, providing students and instructors with greater availability across its modular training programs.
  • The latest arrivals continue a fleet expansion that began in 2025, when Aeros introduced its first four Tecnam P-Mentors. The academy has been progressively renewing its single-engine training fleet while also planning further investment in Diamond DA42 twin-engine aircraft.
  • The expansion supports Aeros' training activities across its four UK locations in Cardiff, Gloucester, Leeds East and Wellesbourne. The academy operates its own aircraft maintenance capability to support aircraft availability and fleet utilisation as its operations expand.
  • The Tecnam P-Mentor is a two-seat, single-engine aircraft equipped with a glass cockpit and designed for both visual and instrument flight training. The type supports IFR, PBN/RNAV and Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) training, with a Rotax 912iSc3 engine rated at 100 hp. Aeros has identified its modern avionics and fuel efficiency as factors supporting the fleet transition.
  • AFM previously reported that Aeros Flight Training ordered two additional Tecnam P-Mentors in January 2026, with deliveries initially scheduled for summer 2026. The latest announcement confirms the arrival of two further aircraft, bringing the Tecnam fleet to the six-aircraft level previously outlined.
