Algeria – Austrian flight simulation technology manufacturer AMST has been selected by Algeria's national carrier Air Algérie to supply a new Airbus A330 CEO/NEO Full Flight Simulator (FFS). The acquisition will support flight crew training across both generations of the airline's Airbus A330 fleet as Air Algérie continues introducing new A330neo aircraft into long-haul operations.

  • Air Algérie took delivery of its sixth Airbus A330-900neo aircraft on October 17, 2026, as part of its widebody fleet renewal and expansion program. The airline's published fleet information also lists eight earlier-generation Airbus A330-202 aircraft.
  • The new simulator will support Air Algérie's requirements for training pilots operating both A330ceo and A330neo aircraft, providing training capacity across the airline's existing and expanding widebody operations.
