Air Arabia Academy Opens Applications for 2027 MPL Pilot Training Intakes

United Arab Emirates – Sharjah-based Air Arabia Academy (formerly T3 Aviation Academy) has opened applications for its 2027 Airline Pilot Training Programme Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) intakes, including applications from recent high school graduates entering professional pilot training from ab-initio level.

• Air Arabia Academy states that its Airline Pilot Training Programme is structured over approximately 20 to 24 months for the initial training phase and leads to an active MPL(A), followed by the accumulation of 1,500 flying hours in collaboration with partner airline Air Arabia toward validation of an ATPL.
• Core aircraft flying is also conducted through external training partners. AFM most recently reported in July 2026 that eight Air Arabia Academy MPL cadets in Batch 7 had travelled to Professional Aviation Academy in Italy for the Core Flying Phase, while a separate Batch 18 of 10 cadets began core flying with F AIR in the Czech Republic in June.
• AFM previously reported that more than 30 cadets graduated from Air Arabia's MPL programme at the academy's 2025 graduation ceremony. Air Arabia Academy's current corporate information states that it has more than 800 cadets and more than 500 graduates who subsequently progressed to flying with Air Arabia.
• Air Arabia's current fleet page lists 92 Airbus aircraft across its operations: 78 A320ceos, five A320neos, three A321ceos and six A321neos. The group also has an existing order for 120 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, creating continuing requirements for A320-family pilot recruitment and training as deliveries progress.
