Air India Flying Academy Appointed Aditya Shukla as Maintenance Manager

India – Air India’s Flying Training Academy in Amravati promoted Aditya Shukla to Manager – Maintenance. Shukla stated that he joined Air India in June 2025 at the airline’s Amravati Flying Training Academy and has contributed to the initial setup of the facility.

• AFM previously reported that Shukla was appointed Maintenance Manager at Avyanna Aviation Academy in January 2024, where his responsibilities covered maintenance of Diamond DA42 and Piper Archer DX training aircraft. His earlier experience included roles with Redbird Flight Training Academy, Asia Pacific Flight Training and CAE’s Gondia training operation.
• The transition gives Shukla experience across the same broad aircraft families now forming Air India Flying Training Academy’s fleet. Air India currently lists 34 trainers comprising 31 single-engine Piper Archers and three multi-engine Diamond DA42 NG aircraft.
• Air India’s 10-acre Amravati campus includes a dedicated maintenance hangar alongside a dispatch centre, classrooms, briefing rooms, accommodation and other supporting infrastructure. The airline has said the facility is designed for up to 180 cadets at one time.
