Global – aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered 351 commercial aircraft during the first half of 2026, approximately 15% more than during the same period in 2025, with Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Faury maintaining that the company remains on track toward its full-year target of around 870 deliveries. Achieving the target would place another 519 aircraft with customers during the second half.
- Airbus delivered 351 aircraft to 77 customers between January and June 2026, compared with 306 aircraft during the first half of 2025.
- The manufacturer must deliver 519 aircraft during the remaining six months to reach 870, equivalent to an average of 86.5 aircraft per month.
- June represented Airbus’ highest monthly output of 2026, with 89 aircraft delivered to 49 customers, following 81 deliveries in May. The June result exceeded the average monthly rate required during the second half.
- Airbus delivered 114 commercial aircraft during the first quarter, meaning second-quarter deliveries reached 237 aircraft as output accelerated following the slower opening months of the year.
- Faury linked the improved delivery trajectory to stabilising engine supplies. Airbus had identified shortages of Pratt & Whitney engines as a constraint during its first-quarter results announcement in April.
- The 870-aircraft target would represent an increase of 77 aircraft, or approximately 9.7%, from the 793 commercial aircraft Airbus delivered during 2025.
