India – The Aviation India and South Asia Summit & Exhibition has announced that Jürgen Westermeier, the newly appointed President and Managing Director of Airbus India and South Asia, will headline the opening 'Leaders Debate' panel at the 2025 edition of the summit, taking place on 29–30 October.
Jürgen Westermeier, recently appointed to lead Airbus India and South Asia, will make one of his first public appearances in India at the Aviation INDIA 2025 Summit.
Airbus is actively developing a comprehensive aerospace ecosystem in India encompassing pilot training centers, assembly, manufacturing, engineering, MRO, leasing, and talent development—aligned with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
The Summit, themed “Shaping the pathway for Indian aviation,” builds on its 2024 inaugural event, which attracted 550 delegates. The 2025 edition is expected to host over 800 attendees and around 50 exhibitors.
